Buyer II (Aerospace)

Location: Pueblo, Colorado, United States. Travel up to 10%, including possible overnight travel within the United States.

Salary: $74,600–$106,800 USD base salary per year.

What you will do

• Place and manage purchase orders and subcontracts for direct-contract and indirect company-support acquisitions.
• Monitor and expedite open purchase orders according to project requirements.
• Maintain accurate and complete purchase order data in the MRP system.
• Negotiate supplier terms, pricing, and schedules with management support.
• Prioritize and execute program requirements while communicating supplier-performance risks to internal stakeholders.
• Resolve discrepancies involving purchasing, delivery, receiving, accounts payable invoices, and supplier payments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related discipline with 5+ years of supply chain experience, or 9+ years of purchasing experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Familiarity with procurement management software, ERP systems, and related tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR and EAR requirements and be eligible to obtain required export authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in the aerospace or Department of Defense industry.
• Experience complying with Federal Acquisition Regulations and NASA procurement requirements.
