Licensed Optical Manager (Optical)

Location: Lecanto, Florida, United States; onsite

Salary: starting from $30.00; additional Manager Bonus and spiff compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Manage the Optical department and supervise, train, coach, and develop optical team members.
• Provide optician and Member service support, including scheduling eye exams, taking measurements, reading prescriptions with a lensometer, adjusting eyeglasses, and notifying Members when products are ready.
• Process eyewear orders, paperwork, payments, opening and closing procedures, and related transactions accurately.
• Support sales and performance goals by educating patients about optical products and recommending suitable options.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe, and compliant Optical department operations and club standards.
• Communicate department performance, maintenance matters, team member performance, and doctor relations to Club and Regional Optical Managers.

Requirements

• Active optician license valid in the state of Florida is required.
• Leadership experience, including supervising teams, training team members, and communicating results.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Open shift availability and regular, predictable full attendance are required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of optical products and business practices, plus high school, college, wholesale, retail, optical, or management experience, is preferred.
