Business Planning Specialist (Semiconductor)

Location: San Jose, California; onsite position with no remote work available

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Drive bottom-up financial forecasts for Annual Operating Plans, Mid-Term Plans, and Long-Term Plans.
• Align monthly revenue forecasts with Product Line Managers and Sales teams to support quarterly goals.
• Manage ship-demand forecasts and maintain data in corporate forecasting systems.
• Coordinate customer escalations, supply allocation, backlog reviews, delivery planning, and supply constraint resolution.
• Analyze demand and supply gaps, wafer start levels, inventory balances, and revenue risks.
• Coordinate pre- and post-release product sample shipments with Product Marketing, Engineering, Planning, and target customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant business or supply chain experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing flows, including fabs, foundries, and OSATs.
• Experience forecasting across OEM, contract manufacturer, and distributor sales channels.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including complex Excel data modeling and forecasting.
• Strong quantitative analysis, communication, cross-functional influence, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
