Project Scheduler (Advanced Energy)

Location: Santa Clara, California, or remote within the United States. Remote employees must travel to the Santa Clara headquarters twice per quarter, and the first two weeks of onboarding are in person. Applicants must meet the definition of a U.S. person under applicable export control laws.

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, baseline, and analyze integrated schedules covering engineering, licensing, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Run recurring status and forecasting cycles, validate progress and completion dates, and maintain schedule logic and quality.
• Analyze critical and near-critical paths, float, schedule sensitivity, risks, and recovery opportunities.
• Develop what-if analyses, recovery plans, acceleration options, and schedule compression scenarios.
• Integrate schedules from EPCs, vendors, and cross-functional technical teams while facilitating planning workshops and reviews.
• Produce milestone reports, look-ahead plans, dashboards, schedule narratives, and executive-ready decision support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, construction management, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing and analyzing integrated schedules for complex technical or capital projects.
• Experience coordinating at least 25 active schedule contributors or status owners across multiple disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project and strong knowledge of critical path methodology, schedule logic, float, forecasting, progress measurement, baselines, and change control.
• Experience facilitating recurring schedule status and planning meetings with cross-functional technical teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and recommendation-building skills.

Nice to have

• PMI-SP or PMP certification.
• Experience with nuclear, energy, industrial, EPC, engineering, or other large capital projects.
• Advanced Microsoft Project skills and familiarity with Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud.
• Experience with DCMA schedule assessments, schedule quality metrics, cost and schedule integration, risk, or earned-value data.
• Startup or high-growth company experience.
