Vice President of Physical Security

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; must be a U.S. Person

Salary: $215,800–$296,741 annual base salary, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Own the multi-year physical security strategy, roadmap, budget, and standardization across current and future facilities.
• Design and implement access control, CCTV/IP surveillance, intrusion detection, badging, visitor management, perimeter controls, and restricted-access zones.
• Establish containment, chain-of-custody, secure transfer, and visitor clearance protocols for sensitive products, proprietary hardware, and classified defense components.
• Lead vendor and integrator management, vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, insider-threat risk analysis, and executive security reporting.
• Build and lead a multi-tiered 24/7 security organization while partnering with IT, Facilities, HR, Operations, Legal, and HSSE.
• Lead emergency planning, incident command, law-enforcement coordination, tabletop exercises, evacuation drills, and active-threat training.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident, due to ITAR and defense requirements.
• 15+ years of progressive physical security leadership experience, including several years at director or VP level.
• Experience in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, defense, semiconductor, or high-technology industrial environments handling high-value or classified hardware.
• Hands-on experience with ITAR, CMMC, electronic access control, video management software, badging systems, and perimeter intrusion detection.
• Experience building and leading a 24/7 security force or specialist team and advising senior executives on enterprise security risk.
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• CPP, PSP, or formal Incident Command System training.
• Senior leadership experience in military intelligence, military police, or law enforcement.
