TL;DR
Clinical Account Associate, Texas (Oncology) (Precision Medicine): Supporting clinical account growth by partnering with account executives, physicians, pathology departments, and oncology clients to drive adoption of genomic testing and clinical ordering with an accent on customer relationships, territory management, and molecular diagnostics. Focus on expanding use of Tempus algorithmic tests, coordinating clinical data and specimen workflows, and developing account plans across the Texas territory.

Location: Remote - Texas; candidate must reside in North Houston or North Austin/Waco. Travel throughout the assigned territory and attendance at approved local conferences are required as needed.

What you will do

  • Support Clinical Account Executives with plans to acquire and retain healthcare clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, office staff, pathology departments, and oncology accounts.
  • Identify upsell and partnering opportunities for Tempus algorithmic tests, including HRD, TO, DPYD, UGT1A1, and PURist.
  • Drive adoption of online ordering through Tempus Hub, EMR integrations, and web-based molecular information tools.
  • Coordinate clinical report reviews, clinical data collection, specimen sendouts, and tissue procurement.
  • Manage territory business planning, account touchpoints, travel, budgets, goals, and competitive feedback.

Requirements

  • B.S. in biology, life science, business, or marketing.
  • Ability to quickly learn genomic and oncology information.
  • Strong customer service, communication, administrative, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain market, customer, and product knowledge.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned Texas territory as needed.
  • Residence in North Houston or North Austin/Waco is required.

Nice to have

  • Healthcare sales support experience, preferably in oncology or pathology, with a record of meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • General clinical experience.
