Sr. Director of Enterprise Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; minimal travel of less than 5%.

Salary: $225,000–$260,000 base salary, plus equity and bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Lead the enterprise cybersecurity program and direct the Security Architecture and Engineering, Security Operations, and Identity and Access Management functions.
• Set strategy, technical direction, roadmaps, staffing priorities, and performance expectations across the three security teams.
• Oversee security architecture reviews, secure design, threat identification, compliance controls, and security solutions for endpoints, identity, email, cloud, data, and networks.
• Direct proactive monitoring, incident response, remediation, cyber resilience planning, and crisis-readiness activities.
• Define and execute the enterprise IAM roadmap, including identity governance, MFA, single sign-on, privileged access, certificate management, and secrets management.
• Advise executive leadership on security risks, establish program KPIs, and develop high-performing security teams.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise security, security operations, or related fields.
• 5+ years of senior information security leadership experience.
• Proven experience building comprehensive cybersecurity programs and multi-team security organizations.
• Experience overseeing Security Operations and IAM functions, including work across multiple time zones.
• Knowledge of GRC frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, SOX, FedRAMP, GDPR, NIST, and CIS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field, together with strong executive communication and business skills.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, or a similar security certification.
