Director of Cybersecurity

Location: Hybrid — required to work from the Concord, Massachusetts office 3 days a week

Salary: $200,000–$220,000 annually, excluding annual bonus and recurring RSU grants

What you will do

• Define and execute the cybersecurity strategy, roadmap, and operating model with the CISO and senior stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and support a global team of security engineers across incident response, vulnerability management, IAM, and application security.
• Own daily security operations, including threat detection and response, vulnerability management, and endpoint security.
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to embed security into system development and operations.
• Manage security vendors, contribute to budget planning, and support hiring, onboarding, and career development.
• Evaluate emerging threats and technologies, including AI, and champion automation in security operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity or closely related experience, including significant people leadership.
• Experience building or maturing security programs in complex, technology-driven environments.
• Broad expertise across security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, IAM, cloud security, application security, or security architecture.
• Strong technical knowledge of Linux and other endpoint and server operating systems, networking, firewalls, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of NIST CSF, CIS, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and experience developing security metrics and reporting to senior leadership.
