Director, Identity Security & Privileged Access Management - USA Remote (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States; the posting lists Austin, Texas, United States.

Annual salary: $175,000–$210,000, plus bonus/incentive pay.

What you will do

• Operationalize and drive the global Privileged Access Management program across multiple operating companies.
• Design PAM reference patterns covering JIT/JEA, session isolation and recording, vault topology, break-glass access, and non-human identity and secrets management.
• Engineer PAM platform configuration standards, integrations, and automation for discovery, onboarding, and credential rotation.
• Govern privileged-account onboarding standards, exception requests, and break-glass procedures while driving remediation of coverage gaps.
• Partner with identity, security operations, cloud, DevOps, infrastructure, and audit teams to integrate privileged-access controls.
• Own the PAM platform and vendor relationship, reporting program status, risk posture, and metrics to security leadership and audit stakeholders.

Requirements

• 14+ years of cybersecurity experience focused on privileged access management or identity and access management.
• Experience designing and driving enterprise or global PAM architecture, operating models, or control frameworks across multiple business units.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise PAM platforms such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Delinea, including onboarding, vaulting, session management, credential rotation, and integrations.
• Ability to work independently across IAM, security operations, cloud, infrastructure, and audit teams to reduce privileged-access risk and support control evidence.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience governing non-human identities, service accounts, and secrets management at scale.
• CISSP, CISM, or a relevant PAM platform leadership or practitioner certification.
• Experience managing globally distributed or matrixed teams and services.
