Information Security Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid in South Charlotte, North Carolina, United States — work from headquarters Tuesday through Thursday and remotely on Mondays and Fridays.

Total cash compensation: $150,000–$230,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead vulnerability management and technical risk reduction across cloud and code environments.
• Own architecture reviews for new systems and major changes, including evaluation of cloud configurations and IAM policies.
• Set and enforce security architecture practices across AWS environments and guide engineering teams through remediation.
• Translate technical risk into actionable business impact for business-unit leaders, Engineering, Finance, and Legal.
• Partner with incident response and detection engineering teams while maintaining working knowledge of their practices.
• Oversee compliance programs covering PCI, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NYDFS, including policy exceptions and third-party risk management.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in security engineering, cybersecurity, or technology risk.
• Hands-on AWS cloud security experience at scale and experience leading technical teams or architecture reviews.
• Demonstrated ownership of vulnerability management or technical risk-reduction programs.
• Working knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 risk and control frameworks.
• Working familiarity with incident response and detection engineering.
• Strong stakeholder influence skills and the ability to lead without authority.

Nice to have

• AWS Security Specialty certification or an equivalent cloud security credential.
• CISSP, GCFA, GIAC, CISA, or CRISC certification.
• Experience in multi-business-unit or federated environments and regulated industries.
• Scripting or light automation experience with Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.
