Contracts Manager

Location: Hybrid, with 2–3 days per week onsite in Boston or New York, United States

Salary: $45–$50 per hour on W-2

Provides information technology and workforce solutions through a large professional services network across the United States and Canada.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, order forms, amendments, and data privacy agreements.
• Advise business owners by translating contractual terms into clear, actionable requirements.
• Coordinate contract reviews with procurement, legal, third-party risk management, and information security.
• Resolve disputes involving service performance, service credits, scope, and invoicing.
• Maintain contract records, renewal triggers, termination rights, spend commitments, and entitlement usage.
• Prepare negotiation positions and brief stakeholders for renewals and contract changes.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in commercial contract management, procurement, or contracts-focused legal work.
• Experience with a global investment manager, fund administrator, or comparable investment organization.
• Proven negotiation experience with third-party service providers, including liability, indemnification, and data handling terms.
• Strong stakeholder management, organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management platforms and repositories.
• Ability to adapt to changing data privacy and third-party risk requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with fund administration, loan servicing, market data licensing, or professional services agreements.
• Understanding of software licensing, subscription models, tiered pricing, and consumption-based pricing.
• Exposure to regulatory and third-party risk requirements in financial services.
• Experience contracting with offshore or nearshore service providers.
