Endocrinology Physician (Obesity Medicine)

Location: Fully remote, US-based; active and unrestricted medical license in any US state required

Salary: $210,000–$250,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Provide telemedicine care for obesity and comprehensive diabetes management, including insulin titration and treatment with insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors.
• Manage patients with complex comorbidities, including chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease, and cardiovascular conditions.
• Conduct initial and follow-up visits, review charts, prescribe non-controlled medications, and provide advanced treatment planning.
• Collaborate with and supervise Endocrine Advanced Practice Providers and Registered Dietitians as needed.
• Ensure consistent clinical documentation, protocols, treatment pathways, and evidence-based care across the team.
• Support colleague development, quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and departmental meetings.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree and current ABIM board certification in Endocrinology.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in any US state, with eligibility to obtain additional state licenses.
• At least two years of post-residency clinical experience in obesity medicine or endocrinology, or completion of an accredited Endocrinology or Obesity Medicine fellowship.
• Current Medicare opt-in status and demonstrated competence managing CKD, ESRD, CAD, and other cardiovascular conditions.
• Expertise in CGMs, insulin pumps, complex insulin regimens, obesity pharmacotherapy, and diabetes treatment.
• Availability for a W-2 schedule of 32, 36, or 40 hours per week, with strong communication and patient-centered care skills.

Nice to have

• American Board of Obesity Medicine certification.
• Experience providing synchronous telehealth care.
• Experience mentoring or teaching APPs, medical residents, or trainees.
• Medical fluency in Spanish.
