Senior Product Owner (Healthcare)

Location: Not specified; travel up to 25% may be required for customer visits, discovery, and team collaboration.

What you will do

• Own, refine, and prioritize the Care Coordination Services product backlog.
• Translate roadmap initiatives, including Forms and Referral Management, into release plans, epics, features, and user stories.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives as the product representative.
• Partner with engineering, QA, UX/design, Product Management, customer success, and implementation teams to clarify requirements and support delivery.
• Accept completed work, coordinate UAT and customer pilots, and support release readiness and internal enablement.
• Track sprint and release metrics, surface risks, and use AI tools to accelerate documentation, feedback analysis, and backlog grooming.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar software product role.
• Hands-on experience owning a product backlog in an Agile/Scrum environment, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare technology, preferably in care coordination, health information management, EHR/EMR, referral management, or clinical workflows.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent backlog and project-management tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for customer visits, discovery, and team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Hands-on use of Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI tools in product operations.
• CSPO, SAFe POPM, or equivalent certification.
• Familiarity with the U.S. healthcare provider environment, HIPAA, FHIR, and HL7.
• Experience taking products from concept through launch, especially referral management, intake/forms automation, or care coordination products.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled features for clinical or administrative workflows.
