Consultant - Global Construction

Location: Remote - Florida; this position is based in Florida

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide full life-cycle project controls support, including schedule, risk, earned value, cost, and change management.
• Review contracts, specifications, drawings, schedules, baselines, updates, and construction plans for quality, constructability, and risk.
• Develop cost administration and reporting systems covering estimates, budgets, schedules, labor hours, costs, and earned value.
• Analyze critical paths, cost loading, forecasted work, constraints, sequencing, milestones, and schedule impacts from change orders.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of schedule submissions and project control procedures.
• Support construction dispute and insurance claims analysis, senior experts, clients, and business development efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• At least four years of design or construction experience across a range of projects.
• At least four years of experience with critical path method and project controls.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, including the ability to mentor and support others.
• Experience managing multiple assignments and clients, with strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Must be based in Florida and have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with delay damages, extended overhead, labor inefficiency, unpaid contract balances, and change order or scope change pricing.
• Experience analyzing complex construction disputes involving defects, design errors and omissions, schedule delays, scope disputes, and labor inefficiency.
