Capital Projects & Contracts (Construction) Senior Manager

Location: Hybrid role based in Seattle, WA, with an additional location in San Francisco, CA; work may include local or out-of-state travel to hirify.global offices and client sites. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $121,000–$195,000 annual base salary, plus a 14% bonus target. Estimated total cash range: $137,940–$222,300.

What you will do

• Advise clients on construction and capital project delivery risks, technical challenges, governance, and performance improvement.
• Develop strategies and solutions for complex construction and capital program problems using current tools and methods.
• Assess project controls, cost and schedule management, contract administration, procurement, and contractor oversight.
• Lead or support claims analysis, dispute advisory, forensic project reviews, and construction project audits.
• Build executive-level client relationships, support business development, and pursue new consulting opportunities.
• Lead teams, oversee project work plans, mentor staff, and provide performance development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in consulting, construction, engineering, project controls, or capital project management.
• Deep knowledge of construction project lifecycles, including planning, design, procurement, execution, and closeout.
• Experience with project planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, contract strategy, change orders, claims, disputes, and KPI monitoring.
• Experience leading and supervising teams, conducting performance appraisals, mentoring, coaching, and reviewing work.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Procore, e-Builder, Kahua, CMiC, or similar construction and project management platforms.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as PMP, CCM, PE, or similar.
• Knowledge of current construction industry trends, delivery models, and technologies.
