Consultant, Professional Services (Equity Management)

Location: USA - Remote

Salary: $88,000–$111,000 USD annually; non-sales base salary range, with possible additional bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead complex equity data projects involving M&A corporate actions, stock splits, vesting accelerations, and award cancellations.
• Validate and reconcile data across multiple systems and sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Design, document, and improve workflows that reduce manual effort.
• Develop and maintain automation templates, scripts, and tools using VBA, SQL, and Python.
• Advise clients on equity plan compliance, controls, and best practices.
• Collaborate with product management and other teams on product enhancements and template optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing complex equity compensation projects or equity plan administration.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, and pivot tables.
• Strong VBA knowledge and proficiency with SQL and Python or a similar scripting language.
• Experience with equity compensation software such as Certent Equity Management, E*TRADE Global EQ, Shareworks, or equivalent platforms.
• Deep understanding of ISOs, RSUs, ASC 718, IFRS 2, and equity plan compliance frameworks.
• Strong documentation and written communication skills for explaining technical concepts.

• Experience with Lean methodology or continuous process improvement.
• Familiarity with hirify.global products.
• Project management or vendor relationship management experience.
• Public speaking or client presentation experience.
