Construction Onsite Foreman (AI Data Center)

Location: Remote, USA; Dallas, TX data center. Approximately 75% travel and sustained on-site presence at active data center construction and fit-out sites are required.

What you will do

• Lead daily field activities for data center white-space fit-outs, high-density compute expansions, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Direct MEP contractors, low-voltage and network installers, rack and integration crews, and OEM field service teams.
• Oversee rack and cabinet installation, containment, power distribution, rPDU systems, cable trays, structured cabling, liquid cooling, CDU tie-ins, and airflow management.
• Enforce safety procedures, including LOTO, energized work permits, hot work permits, PPE, safety walks, and incident reporting.
• Manage inspections, punch lists, material receiving and staging, daily progress reporting, redlines, RFIs, and field documentation.
• Support commissioning, integrated systems testing, final acceptance, and turnover to Data Center Operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction field experience, including 2+ years as a foreman, lead, or superintendent.
• Direct experience with data center white-space fit-outs, critical facilities, or comparable mission-critical installations.
• Practical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, cooling, containment, low-voltage, and structured-cabling systems.
• Ability to supervise multiple trades and vendors, interpret construction drawings and specifications, and produce accurate redlines.
• OSHA 30 certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75% and work on active construction sites, including nights, weekends, and other off-hours when required.

Nice to have

• Completed trade apprenticeship, journeyman license, technical certification, or associate degree in construction or engineering.
• NFPA 70E familiarity.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience with commissioning processes, Procore, Smartsheet, MS Project, or Monday.com.
