Application Engineer Intern, MS - Summer 2027 (Optical DSP)

What you will do

• Support hirify.global's Optical PAM4 DSP products proactively and efficiently.
• Own customer technical issues through resolution.
• Act as the technical interface between customers and hirify.global.
• Collaborate with field application engineers and line managers to gather and communicate customer needs to marketing and engineering.
• Contribute to optical interconnect solutions for cloud data centers and carrier networks.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a master's degree program in electrical engineering, optical engineering, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
• Basic proficiency in C and Python.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled technology and software under U.S. export-control laws; an export license review may be required.

Nice to have

• Understanding of digital signal processing, analog circuits, and system hardware.
