Test & Measurement Lead Engineer

What you will do

• Lead test strategies, principles, methods, work packages, and test-setup realization for complex hardware.
• Own test execution and deliver reliable measurement data with appropriate conclusions based on advanced analysis.
• Translate hardware risks, failure modes, and mechanisms into test methods, measurement capabilities, and equipment requirements.
• Develop and improve testing processes, procedures, and competence frameworks while preventing recurring errors and failures.
• Collaborate with Development & Engineering projects, system architects, reliability, EHS, and internal customers.
• Mentor junior test and measurement engineers and maintain a stakeholder network across hirify.global.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering or equivalent experience, plus at least 8 years of experience.
• Hands-on development experience in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, applied physics, materials science, or a related field.
• Strong experience with testing, particularly part-level testing, test design, test execution, and measurement data quality.
• Ability to solve problems in complex environments and translate hardware risks into test methods and measurement results.
• Excellent communication skills for aligning with engineers, system architects, and internal customers in challenging situations.
• Must be legally authorized to access technology controlled under United States export regulations before starting work.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Physics of Failure and DfSS methods.
• Experience with measurement equipment and Measurement System Analysis.
• LabVIEW knowledge.
