Lead Electrical Engineer - Test Emphasis

Location: Lewiston, Idaho, United States; onsite at SEL’s manufacturing facility

Salary: $115,300–$170,400 per year

What you will do

• Lead engineers and technicians through test development processes, monitoring deliverables and project progress.
• Own multiple test-development projects, establish development plans, and provide project status metrics.
• Review and approve test plans, station designs, and validation documentation.
• Design, develop, and maintain test strategies for new and existing products.
• Evaluate test technologies, define Design for Test specifications, and coordinate with product engineering teams.
• Analyze test data to improve coverage, process efficiency, and software verification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience designing and developing production tests.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, including mentoring and performance evaluation.
• Strong writing, documentation, speaking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
• Successful background check and negative drug test results required.

Nice to have

• Three years of project management experience.
• Two years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of SEL products.
