Electrical Design Engineer (Electrification)

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; onsite five days per week. Approximately 10% travel, including possible international travel. Domestic relocation is available.

Salary: $97,530–$146,290 per year

What you will do

• Own electrical components including pumps, compressors, fans, valves, and related technologies.
• Support component design, development, and validation for electrification programs.
• Interpret electrical schematics and system architecture.
• Translate technical requirements into engineering documentation and apply industry standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing, product, validation, and technical teams.
• Build technical expertise in electrification systems and supported component technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; other Engineering degrees may be considered.
• Understanding of electrical components and system architecture.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
• High-voltage electrical component experience is preferred.
• Visa sponsorship is not available, and applicants requiring employer-specific sponsorship cannot be hired for this position.
