2027 Operations Intern

Location: On-site five days per week in Davidson, North Carolina; willingness to relocate anywhere in the United States is required.

Salary: $20.50–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Complete a 12-week summer internship with assignments across operations.
• Contribute to lean production, operational excellence, and productivity generation and tracking.
• Support planning strategy and sales, inventory, and operations planning.
• Gain exposure to ergonomics and safety, sourcing and procurement, and material handling.
• Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate efforts and deliver operational results.
• Apply problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify root causes and evaluate alternatives.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, applied science engineering, industrial systems engineering, mechanical engineering, business with a supply chain emphasis, or supply chain management.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• At least one internship or other work experience.
• Leadership experience through campus organizations, sports, resident advising, or work projects.
• Strong collaboration, adaptability, learning, problem-solving, and strategic evaluation skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
