Supply Chain Internship - Summer 2027

Location: Charlotte, NC, United States. Hybrid work is performed remotely and onsite after onboarding; interns must live within a reasonable commute of the designated facility. Reliable transportation is required, and some assignments may require a valid driver's license. Travel requirements are 5–15%.

What you will do

• Support strategic sourcing, procurement projects, supplier research, market analysis, and contract activities.
• Assist with supplier performance evaluations, vendor coordination, supplier engagement, and risk mitigation.
• Analyze inventory, demand planning, forecasting, logistics, and material optimization needs.
• Collect and interpret operational, supplier, inventory, and business data; develop reports, dashboards, and recommendations.
• Support business case evaluations, project coordination, milestone tracking, and progress documentation.
• Participate in site visits, supplier engagements, operational observations, and cross-functional work with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and business support teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
• Must not graduate before August 2027.
• Ability to work a 40-hour work week when required and commute reliably to the designated facility for onsite work.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Interest or experience in supply chain operations, logistics, inventory management, analytics, forecasting, business operations, or process improvement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other analytical tools.
• Coursework or exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, modeling, simulation, or data analytics.
• Leadership, communication, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
