2027 Internship – Global Supply Chain – Procurement Commercial

Location: San Diego, California, United States; onsite five days per week. Relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $22.50–$40.25 per hour, depending on major, degree, and completed academic hours.

What you will do

• Support purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, cost and price analysis, and contract or purchase order generation.
• Manage purchased material requirements based on demand signals, inventory availability, and product needs.
• Monitor material shortages and adjust supplier delivery schedules to maintain material availability.
• Communicate shortages and supply risks to customers and internal business partners.
• Develop improvement plans covering response time, lean targets, quality, cost, logistics, capacity, and risk management.
• Complete an individual business-relevant project and present the results to senior supply chain leaders and business partners.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a four-year accredited university or college.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8/4.0.
• Preferred fields of study include supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or accounting.
• Strong initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform analytical and administrative work in support of purchasing initiatives.

Nice to have

• Previous supply chain internship or work experience.
• Leadership involvement in student associations.
• Competence in data analytics.
