TL;DR
Applications Analyst II (RTLS/application systems): Supporting RTLS applications across planning, testing, implementation, upgrades, change management, and production support with an accent on requirements analysis, integrations, testing, and operational reliability. Focus on resolving complex incidents, coordinating infrastructure and hardware deployments, improving workflows, and mentoring junior analysts.

Location: Boston, Massachusetts; hybrid work with 2–3 days onsite per week

Salary: $90,900–$101,800 per year

What you will do

  • Support RTLS applications throughout the lifecycle, including configuration, customization, testing, deployment, upgrades, and production support.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and recommend workflow and process improvements.
  • Design and validate integrations and data flows with engineering and infrastructure teams.
  • Develop test plans, coordinate UAT and release activities, and validate production readiness.
  • Resolve complex application incidents, lead problem management, and implement preventive fixes.
  • Coordinate vendor, facilities, contractor, infrastructure, and hardware deployment activities while mentoring junior analysts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 4 years of IT experience supporting business or clinical systems applications required.
  • Knowledge of application configuration, requirements gathering, workflow documentation, UAT, SDLC, and ITIL concepts.
  • Experience with integration activities, data mapping, log and trace analysis, change management, and release support.
  • Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, prioritization, and customer service skills; proficiency with Microsoft 365.
