Senior Systems Analyst (AI)

Location: Boston, MA, United States; employees work from the office four days a week with flexibility to work remotely one day a week.

Salary: USD 90,000–180,000 annually, plus potential bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Support the IBOR platform and critical data platforms used by investment professionals.
• Analyze reconciliation breaks, data issues, application logs, and monitoring information using SQL and related tools.
• Monitor data quality and perform validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and database troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with regional, global, offshore, development, business analyst, and data producer teams to resolve complex issues.
• Document data processes, maintain reports and dashboards, track incidents, and support system enhancements and new data source onboarding.
• Identify and implement AI and automation use cases for incident detection, triage, reporting, knowledge reuse, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the financial industry, including portfolio accounting, investment operations, and IBOR concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced SQL and database troubleshooting skills, with experience using Python or another programming language.
• Experience gathering functional requirements, developing specifications, test plans, and test executions.
• Experience with design and development, Agile/Scrum processes, and business process visualization tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, client relationship management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• CFA charter or progress toward a CFA charter.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, copilots, chatbots, workflow automation platforms, and GenAI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
