Rebate Clinical Program Manager (PharmD)

Location: San Diego, California, United States; on-site at the San Diego Headquarters or another company location. Remote work requires management approval based on business requirements.

Salary: $108,515–$152,464–$196,412 annually.

What you will do

• Optimize the clinical quality and cost-effectiveness of medical drug rebate programs using analytical tools and performance indicators.
• Provide client recommendations covering HCPCS/NDC analysis, rebate system edits and restrictions, and accurate medical billing.
• Analyze claims for incorrect or unusual quantities billed for rebate invoicing and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Conduct provider audits and education related to medical claim billing and rebate processing.
• Develop and maintain clinically appropriate unit-of-measure conversions from NDC billing to CMS rebate units.
• Support CMS dispute resolution, client reporting, state financial analysis, drug purchasing policies, and 340B strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• PharmD and at least 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including 1 year as a subject-matter expert in the relevant area.
• Registered Pharmacist license.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and relational databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, mathematical, written, verbal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with internal and external clients, manage difficult client situations, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
