TL;DR
Operational Excellence Lead I (PharmD) (Oncology Operations): Supporting the integration of RP1, an intratumorally administered oncolytic viral therapy, into US treatment centers with an accent on site readiness, cold-chain logistics, pharmacy workflows, and multidisciplinary care coordination. Focus on mapping operational workflows, facilitating implementation meetings, developing scalable playbooks, and solving barriers to successful product adoption.

Location: Remote, field-based across the United States, with substantial travel of 50–75%.

Base pay: $170,000–$218,000 per year, plus performance incentive bonus, new-hire equity, and ongoing performance-based equity.

What you will do

  • Conduct site-readiness assessments and support the implementation of RP1 launch strategies at targeted treatment centers.
  • Evaluate operational workflows, identify implementation gaps, and develop action plans covering storage, thawing, scheduling, administration logistics, and care coordination.
  • Prepare and facilitate Operational Workflow Meetings with oncology, pharmacy, nursing, interventional radiology, scheduling, and practice leadership stakeholders.
  • Map workflows, document decisions and action items, and follow up with sites on implementation progress.
  • Develop best practices, readiness assessments, workflow playbooks, meeting materials, and implementation tools for current and future product launches.
  • Build trusted partnerships with treatment center stakeholders and support onboarding and early adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced PharmD degree or related studies is preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare operations, oncology, specialty therapeutics, or clinical practice.
  • Experience with cold-chain product logistics, temperature monitoring, institutional storage, and pharmacy workflows.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and IRT/IVRS/IXRS or similar inventory management systems.
  • Advanced facilitation, presentation, stakeholder engagement, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively, approximately 50–75%.

Nice to have

  • Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification.
  • 2+ years of clinical pharmacy experience in an academic or community setting.
  • Experience launching oncology products in specialty or hospital-based environments.
