Senior Director, Pharmacy

Location: Remote in California

Salary: $185,700–$352,500 per year

What you will do

• Establish the strategic vision, objectives, policies, and procedures for pharmacy programs across multiple plans and markets.
• Plan, direct, and implement pharmacy activities for multiple products.
• Administer pharmacy contracts, coordinate vendor performance standards, and support accreditation initiatives.
• Analyze drug utilization, utilization management, operating costs, financial data, and ad hoc reports.
• Collaborate with plan management and support provider education initiatives across multiple markets.
• Manage pharmacy staff, including coverage and support for multiple locations and products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or an advanced pharmacy degree such as PharmD or M.S. from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• At least 6 years of clinical pharmacy care experience and at least 1 year managing a pharmacy program.
• Experience in managed care, retail, or hospital pharmacy, with thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical care and pharmacy benefit management.
• Previous people-management experience, including hiring, training, work assignment, and performance management.
• Current pharmacist license and ability to obtain additional state licenses as required.
• Valid driver’s license.
