Software Engineer (Ruby/React)

Location: Charlotte, NC, United States; hybrid with flexible scheduling

Annual salary: $90,000–$125,000 based on experience, plus up to a 5% annual bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Participate in solution shaping, system design, ticket breakdown, implementation, code review, deployment, monitoring, and reporting.
• Develop full-stack features across the Ruby on Rails JSON API, React SPA, and PostgreSQL database.
• Write tests and maintain quality throughout development, review, and release.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, industry specialists, and other product-focused teams.
• Own technical work from problem understanding through delivery and monitoring.

Requirements

• 2+ years of related professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with Ruby or React.
• Familiarity with both front-end and back-end web development.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical teammates.
• Ability to work in the Charlotte, NC hybrid setup.

• Onsite interview with the Product, Engineering, and Design teams, including hands-on technical work.
