What you will do

• Analyze business needs and identify technology solutions that improve processes and support strategic objectives.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, from analysis and solution design through testing, release, and maintenance.
• Elicit, document, prioritize, and translate business requirements, user stories, use cases, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, customers, software developers, and technical teams.
• Document project decisions, technical information, data mappings, training materials, and implementation roadmaps.
• Write and execute test scripts, validate system changes, monitor project progress, resolve issues, and mentor junior business analysts.

Requirements

• Must work from the Troy, Michigan location.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent education.
• At least 4 years of business analyst experience or 10 years of comparable experience.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements across business processes, controls, system requirements, data conversion, analytics, and reporting.
• Knowledge of software systems, application integration, workflows, data modeling, relational databases, data warehouses, star schemas, and data marts.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• IIBA or PMI-CBAP certification.
• SQL or PL/SQL experience using Toad or a similar tool.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum ceremonies, JIRA, Confluence, Cognos, Power BI, ETL, IBM InfoSphere DataStage, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Selenium or LoadRunner.
