Business Systems Analyst III (Empower LOS)

Location: In office in Jacksonville, Florida, or Los Angeles, California, US

Salary: $87,027–$138,965 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Determine business unit needs and define requirements for banking system maintenance, enhancements, and new functionality.
• Develop, configure, test, and support division-specific systems, including loan documentation, credit, and loan services applications.
• Create test scripts, quality-control system changes, and coordinate implementations with software vendors and Business and Technology Services.
• Provide end-user troubleshooting, documentation, training, and ongoing communication about system changes.
• Run database and data warehouse queries and prepare recurring, ad hoc, management, risk, audit, and regulatory reports.
• Monitor project objectives, budgets, quality standards, schedules, and post-implementation activities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience developing and customizing databases or systems for reporting.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and generating weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports using tools such as Brio, MS Query, MS Access, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects.
• At least 3 years of experience in a loan servicing or operations environment.
• Strong process management, problem-solving, organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of PC environments, databases, data warehouses, MS Word, Excel, MS Access, reporting tools, and financial analysis techniques.
• Ability to comply with banking policies and regulatory requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, and Fair Lending Practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle, Oracle Analytics, Oracle procedures and views, Java Server Pages, or JavaScript.
• Experience with web-based loan origination workflow systems, preferably FinanceCenter or HCL CapitalStream.
• Prior banking experience and experience with sales or financial modeling.
