Lead Business Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL; legal eligibility to work in the specified location is required. The proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview.

Salary: $145,000–$170,000 annually, plus potential incentive compensation and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions with business partners.
• Design client-focused solutions and prepare documentation covering scope, requirements, and quality assurance.
• Support application development and the adoption of new technologies for existing processes and client needs.
• Provide technical leadership and subject-matter expertise to project managers, coordinators, directors, and technology professionals.
• Lead end-to-end project implementation and mentor a diverse technology and project team.
• Work primarily with the Rates desk while supporting a cross-asset risk management platform.

Requirements

• 3–4+ years of experience in a business systems analysis or business analyst role leading projects and designing solutions.
• Experience eliciting requirements, writing clear documentation, managing stakeholders, and communicating complex information.
• Strong data analysis, gap analysis, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Excel pivot tables, Visio, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Legal eligibility to work in the specified Chicago location is required; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.

Nice to have

• At least two years of experience with Confluence and Jira.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
