Director - AWAT Infrastructure, DevOps & Cybersecurity (PL)

Location: Onsite in Westlake, TX or Austin, TX

Salary: USD $139,600–$310,300 per year

What you will do

• Lead the infrastructure, security, DevOps, and automation technology strategy and execute the modernization roadmap.
• Oversee infrastructure lifecycle programs, capacity planning, cloud and platform operations, patching, migrations, resiliency, disaster recovery, and recovery exercises.
• Lead shared CI/CD tooling, deployment platforms, engineering runtime services, and developer enablement platforms.
• Drive platform security compliance, risk management, audit controls, and security remediation programs.
• Partner with technology and business leaders to improve platform health, availability, deployment practices, and operational governance.
• Lead infrastructure, security, and DevOps managers and engineers, including talent development, succession planning, training, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in information technology and at least 5 years of leadership experience in enterprise infrastructure, IT operations, cloud/platform engineering, DevOps platform services, or related operations.
• Experience with highly available applications, distributed systems, and technology delivery in a complex financial services environment.
• Strong experience with on-premises and cloud platforms, including compute, storage, virtualization, backup and recovery, networking, observability, databases, and application support.
• Experience operating hybrid, multicloud environments across Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure with 24/7 reliability, elastic scaling, and cost and performance optimization.
• Strong business influence, executive communication, decision-making, change leadership, talent management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability and willingness to work onsite in Westlake, Texas, or Austin, Texas.

Nice to have

• Technology operations experience supporting institutional, advisor services, digital advice, financial planning, or wealth management applications.
