TL;DR
Associate Director, Product Engineering (AI/SaaS): Leading software engineering teams to build best-in-class banking platforms with an accent on AI software development lifecycles and agentic AI. Focus on driving AI initiatives via GitHub Copilot, managing onshore/offshore teams, and optimizing the SDLC for developer productivity.
Location: Must be based in or be able to work from Waltham, MA
Salary: $173,500.00 - $310,000.00 USD

What you will do
- Hire, train, and lead multiple software engineering teams in the creation of banking platforms.
- Manage performance and daily activities of engineers, including 1-on-1s and professional development.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, and Agile teams to ensure delivery and best practices.
- Drive AI initiatives utilizing GitHub Copilot, FAB, and agentic AI development.
- Oversee application security best practices and manage technical debt within the organization.
- Provide production support as needed.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in Waltham, MA (onsite presence required for interviews and work)
- 10+ years of experience in software product engineering with a focus on AI and leadership.
- 5+ years of experience in people management.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft stack: ASP.NET, C#, T-SQL, and JavaScript.
- Expertise in Agentic AI development, A2A orchestration, and implementing MCP servers.
- Experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus) and AWS cloud platforms.
Nice to have
- Advanced technical degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with reporting tools like SSRS or PowerBI.
- Proficiency in UI frameworks such as Angular, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
