Programs Manager, Strategic Initiatives (Financial Services)

Location: Concord, California office with a hybrid work schedule; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 base salary per year, plus eligible variable incentive compensation and benefits

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of established and emerging advisor-facing programs through development, launch, delivery, measurement, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Business Consultants, senior leadership, Marketing, and other departments to align strategy, objectives, timelines, deliverables, communications, and launches.
• Engage financial advisors to gather feedback, understand business needs, and identify opportunities for program enhancements or new offerings.
• Design surveys, conduct industry research, manage research vendors, and synthesize feedback, engagement data, and internal expertise into actionable insights.
• Prepare reporting on KPIs, ROI, participation, engagement, and advisor feedback to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and controls while improving program processes and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience managing business, client-facing, or customer-facing programs.
• Experience managing programs across the full lifecycle, including development, launch, delivery, measurement, and continuous improvement.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, relationship-building, communication, research, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to establish and evaluate KPIs, engagement metrics, and ROI, and translate feedback and research into program enhancements.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and OneNote; strong Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables, charts, and formatting.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, wealth management, practice management, business consulting, professional services, or a related environment.
• Understanding of business consulting, practice management, or the challenges of operating and growing an advisory business.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce and Slack.
• General understanding of graphic design.
