Technology Program Manager

Location: In office in Los Angeles, California, or Jersey City, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $99,000–$176,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver multiple highly complex, long-term technology projects and programs with firm-wide business and technology impact.
• Build governance structures, delivery plans, schedules, budgets, and reporting routines aligned with strategic goals.
• Manage matrixed project teams, resources, suppliers, stakeholders, and communication across all levels of bank management.
• Lead risk assessments, mitigation strategies, change control, quality management, and contingency planning.
• Lead solution selection and implementation for critical bank units and functions.
• Support long-range planning and application or product roadmap development with business owners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of experience managing highly complex technical projects involving large teams.
• At least 2 years of experience as a technical program and/or portfolio manager.
• Deep expertise in program management methodologies, project management tools, and techniques across the project lifecycle.
• Excellent presentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create complex MS Project plans, MS PowerPoint presentations, and Excel workbooks.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of banking or financial industry experience.
• PMP certification.
• Agile Scrum Master certification and two years of Agile Scrum Master experience.
• Industry knowledge supporting design and vendor product selection for corporate-wide solutions.
