Team Lead - Distribution 2nd Shift

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate shipping, receiving, and warehouse operator activities to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Train internal employees and temporary staff according to quality and customer specifications.
• Supervise personnel day to day and escalate performance issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Maintain department processes, protocols, supplies, tools, and procedure documentation.
• Identify and respond to safety risks, maintain warehouse security, and escort unauthorized persons from warehouse areas.
• Communicate operational, equipment, staffing, and process issues to supervisors and management.

Requirements

• High school education or 2–3 years of warehouse experience.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to set priorities based on workload, production schedules, and turnaround requirements.
• Ability to identify and communicate processing problems, work independently, and perform under quality and turnaround constraints.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs regularly.

• Data processing, PC, order entry, Word, or Excel experience.
