Team Lead - Distribution (Power Tools)

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. operates a consumer power tools distribution facility.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate shipping, receiving, and warehouse operator activities to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Train internal employees and temporary staff according to quality and customer specifications.
• Supervise personnel day to day and escalate performance issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Maintain department processes, resolve issues, and recommend updates to staffing levels and procedure documentation.
• Ensure employees have the required supplies and tools, and communicate equipment problems to management.
• Maintain warehouse security, escort unauthorized persons from warehouse areas, and promote safe working practices.

Requirements

• High school education or 2–3 years of warehouse experience.
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to set priorities based on workload, production schedules, and turnaround requirements.
• Ability to identify and communicate processing or operational problems and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under turnaround and quality constraints and communicate effectively with management and staff.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, crouch, work in varying temperatures, and regularly lift, push, or pull up to 50 lb.

• Data processing, PC, order entry, Word, or Excel experience.
