Operations Team Lead - 1st Shift (Distribution)

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA; onsite distribution center role. Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with possible overtime.

Salary: $23.60 per hour and up, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead operational and administrative activities for a major production department.
• Train, develop, direct, and support hourly associates.
• Serve as the department contact for production systems issues and questions.
• Coordinate work activities and workflow with other departments to meet deadlines and customer commitments.
• Monitor quality and productivity standards and recommend solutions to operational issues.
• Assist with policy and payroll administration and act in a leadership capacity when the Supervisor is absent.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience with PC-based applications.
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse operations environment.
• At least 6 months of experience involving walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, gripping, bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, and keyboard use.
