Senior Manager Human Resources (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead HR strategy and day-to-day HR operations for the Reading and Shalmet sites, supporting production, maintenance, and salaried operations employees.
• Manage employee relations programs, investigations, complaints, exit interviews, performance management, attendance, corrective performance, and conflict resolution.
• Advise executive leaders, managers, HR professionals, and employees on workplace issues, policies, compensation, staffing, discipline, and termination guidelines.
• Drive continuous improvement, change management, employee engagement, cultural change, and implementation of critical business initiatives.
• Partner with recruitment, compensation, total rewards, training, engagement, HR business partners, and HR leaders at other sites.
• Track HR KPIs, manage budgets, use technology including AI to improve HR practices, and mentor HR Business Partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, management, industrial relations, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in human resources, including 3–5 years as an HR Business Manager or HR leader.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing and/or engineering-oriented environments.
• Professional depth in employee relations, organizational and employee development, staffing, compensation, and strategic workforce planning.
• Strong communication, management, conflict resolution, negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently, influence leaders at all organizational levels, and manage ambiguity in a changing environment.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience with Workday.
• Experience with progressive HR practices and broad HR functional responsibilities.
