Director Human Resources (Manufacturing)

Location: Whitewater, Wisconsin, USA; the role supports sites across Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Georgia.

What you will do

• Lead HR business partners supporting multiple manufacturing plants and distribution centers.
• Provide strategic HR guidance on organizational effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Align HR strategy, policies, talent processes, and employee experience across geographically dispersed sites.
• Partner with operations and supply chain leaders on workforce planning from production through distribution and fulfillment.
• Develop leadership teams and lead compensation cycles, talent reviews, and succession planning.
• Support labor relations, grievance processes, union partnerships, site expansions, start-ups, and M&A integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, and talent management.
• Experience supporting complex, multi-site manufacturing and distribution operations.
• Ability to use workforce analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across multiple sites.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, MBA, or a related discipline.
• SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification.
• Experience in distribution, logistics, union environments, or M&A integration.
• Experience using AI-enabled HR tools for workforce planning and efficiency.
