Laboratory Supervisor, Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Northeast, Horsham PA

Location: Onsite in Horsham, Pennsylvania; must live within a commutable distance of the Horsham laboratory. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Compensation: $28–$30 per hour, plus benefits within 30 days.

What you will do

• Supervise analysts, technicians, temporary employees, and applicable second-shift supervisors.
• Coordinate laboratory workload, project priorities, sample release, due dates, and turnaround times.
• Participate in sample preparation and analysis, review and validate data, and authorize data releases.
• Train and develop laboratory staff on skills, equipment, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Track productivity, prepare department reports, support performance reviews, and communicate operational issues to laboratory management.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures, support safety inspections, and operate or maintain specialized analytical instrumentation.

Requirements

• BS or BA in Chemistry or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of analytical or general science, quality assurance plans, laboratory procedures, standard operating procedures, chemical hazards, and laboratory safety.
• Experience or ability in laboratory instrument maintenance, problem solving, prioritization, organization, time management, and employee supervision.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not offered. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
