Laboratory Support Technician (Built Environment Testing)

Location: Phoenix, AZ, USA; onsite laboratory position

Salary: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

hirify.global Scientific provides analytical testing services across food, environmental, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and other life sciences industries. The Built Environment Testing division performs industrial hygiene and indoor air quality testing, including asbestos, mold, bacteria, VOCs, Legionella, radon, lead, and silica analysis.

What you will do

• Receive and open sample packages from walk-in clients, delivery services, and drop boxes.
• Log projects and samples accurately and promptly in the laboratory LIMS system.
• Label, organize, transfer, and package samples for shipment according to laboratory procedures.
• Perform quality assurance procedures, participate in internal and external audits, and support Lean initiatives.
• Provide administrative and operational support to Project Managers, Laboratory Analysts, and remote locations.
• Process customer supply-order transactions and respond to emails and phone calls.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient typing skills of at least 45 WPM.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with adaptability, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
