Chief Financial Officer (Fintech)

Location: Based in the New York City office; remote work is available for candidates based in Denver, CO or Austin, TX.

Salary: $300K–$375K annually in base salary and bonus for New York City-based applicants, with stock options and other incentive pay potentially available.

What you will do

• Lead the FP&A, Strategic Finance, and Accounting teams of eight people.
• Deliver business insight, rigorous financial analysis, disciplined budgeting, and accurate forecasting.
• Build a culture that balances high growth, profitability, financial discipline, and intelligent risk-taking.
• Partner with departments across the organization to support commercial and operational success.
• Lead hirify.global's path toward profitable and sustainable growth.
• Serve as a member of the leadership team and operating thought partner to the CEO.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles.
• Ability to lead teams through systems thinking, personal leadership, and process discipline.
• Investor mindset with the ability to connect strategic perspective and detailed financial analysis.
• Entrepreneurial, action-oriented approach suited to fast-moving environments.
• Strong customer focus, empathy, intellectual curiosity, and comfort making decisions under uncertainty.
• Passionate leadership, strong communication, and a track record of execution.
