Land Development Project Manager (Civil Engineering)

Location: Austin, Texas; hybrid work between an office and field environment, with onsite duties

What you will do

• Manage land development projects from early planning and due diligence through design, permitting, construction, and closeout.
• Prepare and oversee plans, specifications, memoranda, reports, and other project deliverables.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control for grading, earthwork, drainage, water and wastewater networks, site layouts, and street corridors.
• Review record drawings, calculate slopes and utility inverts, and coordinate redline updates with CAD designers and drafters.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, utility providers, municipal agencies, and internal teams to secure approvals and maintain compliance.
• Manage scopes, fees, budgets, schedules, deadlines, project files, and design team execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least 10 years of land development experience and a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat Pro or Bluebeam.
• Experience designing pipe networks, street corridors, lot layouts, grading, drainage, and water quality systems.
• Experience with construction administration, including submittals, pay applications, and contract closeout.
• Valid Texas driver's license with a good driving record.
