Team Lead - Project Management (Utilities) (63144)

Location: Remote or in-office in Lakewood, Colorado; some field work and periodic travel to client meetings and job sites are required.

Salary: $90,000–$150,000 per year, based on the Denver, Colorado labor market.

What you will do

• Lead, oversee, mentor, and coach Project Managers, Associate Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Coordinators.
• Plan and manage engineering project schedules, budgets, scope, financial performance, documentation, and subcontractors.
• Lead client status meetings, communicate progress, manage information requests, and support customer satisfaction and quality control.
• Coordinate EPC contractors, subconsultants, electric utilities, internal service teams, contractual deliverables, permitting, and jurisdictional approvals.
• Manage utility interconnection processes and documentation for construction projects, including interconnection and testing.
• Support business development, proposals, marketing activities, commercial strategy, and company-client relationships.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional project management experience.
• Undergraduate degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or a relevant field.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CPM scheduling, and Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
• Superior written, verbal, communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage stressful situations, prepare effective project plans, and produce executive-level reporting.
• Ability to work remotely or from the Lakewood, Colorado office, with required field work, periodic travel, and the ability to lift 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with electrical substations, transmission lines, medium-voltage collection and distribution, PV engineering, and battery storage.
• PMP certification.
