Group Leader - 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA; onsite third-shift role

Salary: $22.81–$26.93 per hour

What you will do

• Direct daily production assignments according to department needs and schedules.
• Identify and remove obstacles affecting operator standard work and contain or escalate line disruptions.
• Drive continuous improvement, structured problem-solving, waste reduction, and root cause analysis.
• Develop quality initiatives and maintain the Tier-1 Continuous Improvement Board for safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Run daily team meetings, coordinate with peer leads, and support operator training, coaching, mentoring, and cross-training.
• Ensure a safe working environment and provide clear communication across department levels.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Technical skills in business, quality, and/or manufacturing, with an understanding of manufacturing or backshop environments.
• Ability to use timekeeping systems such as AS400 and Kronos, RF/barcoding technology, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, planning, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, push or pull up to 100 lbs, use power tools, and stand and walk for the assigned shift, potentially up to 12 hours per day.
