Engineering Manager (SaaS)

Location: US; remote

Salary: $153,800–$211,400 base pay per year

What you will do

• Lead engineering teams throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Recruit, mentor, coach, retain, and inspire engineers and technical leads.
• Set and track goals and objectives for team members.
• Resolve technical and people-related roadblocks across the organization.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, delivery managers, engineers, and quality engineering to deliver software.
• Support expense approvals, budget planning, stakeholder meetings, and decision-making.

Requirements

• 12+ years of industry experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
• 4+ years of technical leadership experience, including management of teams with 5 or more engineers.
• Strong leadership, emotional intelligence, organization, resilience, and adaptability.
• Hands-on AWS experience with EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, ELB, and Lambda.
• Experience with service-oriented or microservices architecture in containerized environments, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong skills in at least one of Go, C#/.NET, or Python, plus REST APIs and web technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technology and cloud transformation.
