Operations Supervisor-Hauling (Waste Management)

Location: Mt Laurel, NJ, USA; full-time onsite operational role.

Pay range: $82,600–$113,650 annually, depending on locality. Annual incentive plan target: 10%.

What you will do

• Supervise collection activities across commercial, residential, roll-off, and container delivery operations.
• Lead drivers and helpers while implementing safety, service, efficiency, and budget initiatives.
• Manage accident prevention, environmental, operating, regulatory, accounting, and ethics compliance.
• Create and improve routes, manage labor hours and disposal expenses, and drive productivity across routes.
• Resolve customer service issues, unusual requests, equipment breakdowns, and schedule changes.
• Build employee engagement, coach team members, and develop talent for advancement.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Ability to direct a large staff and build high-performance teams.
• Process-oriented and results-oriented approach with strong judgment and commitment to organizational goals.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, decision-making, leadership, and collaboration skills.
